I had my procedures done Monday and woke up feeling not too bad! I got up walked to the car smiling afterward, came home and got into bed. I slept until the morning and everything was not too bad. It turns out my doc put a lot of lidocaine in my breasts and tummy flap so I was pretty much pain free.
Yesterday, however was a different story. The breast lift is a piece of cake, it doesn't hurt at all and my nipples are still very sensitive (hooray!). I'm a little worried, my breasts aren't as 'uplifted' as I would have liked, but I'm told you really need to wait a full month for an idea of what your result will be. Right now I'm not too happy though.
The tummy tuck is amazing! I went back to the doc yesterday afternoon to have the bandages changed and started crying when they took off the wrap. It's been 16 years since I've had a flat tummy and I couldn't believe what I saw. It was flat all the way from under my breasts right down to my pubic region! I could cry right now I'm soo happy for it.
My husband has been an angel cleaning my incisions and wraps and making sure I walk correctly so I don't put tension on the incision.
Today the pain is much better, but there was something I wasn't expecting, the pain isn't so much in the incisions but in my abdominal muscles up high where my belly button is. They said it's because the doctor had to tighten all my abs back up; I guess they had split some carrying the huge Buddha baby.
I'm feeling better than I thought I would, I got up to eat in the living room with a t.v. tray for lunch and watched television for a bit, now I'm up at my desk.
Crossing my fingers for nice boobies, but I'm already thinking I need some implants to perk things up a bit
