Hi, ladies

Well couldn't sleep on Thursday Sept 25th day before surgery.  My surgery was at 3:00 had to be there at 1:00.  Nurse came in to put tight hose on my legs, and a another nurse started IV fluids.  Went back to surgery, only thing I remember is getting on the surgery bed, and my drug man saying, i am going to put something in your iv to make you relax, and put some oxygen on your face.  Well thats all I remember from that point.  The ride home was ****, it seemed like all the bumps in the street just knew I was in pain, and decided to jump out at us.  Anyway I did have the feeling of a big elephant on my chest, and this binder bra thingy is awful.  My DH is great he is actually doing a great job in taking care of me.  Tried laying down, that is a no no, so I had pillows around me like a fort, to protect my boobies from swinging arms.  Besides the pain in my chest I have been having problems with constipation, I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.  So my suggestion to whomever who is going through this or any surgery, make sure you take some type of laxative a couple of days ahead.  My PS said I only need to ice down for 48 hours.  I did better today, as far as getting around and doing alittle for myself.  We took a bath today, that was so great, but I had to keep the bra thingy in place.  But it felt good to unstrap it when my DH cleaned the scars, but it is like death when strapping it back on.  Well i go back to PS Monday, so i will keep u posted and i will post pics later.
